My Journey
I grew up in Greater Vancouver, BC surrounded by natural beauty.
I studied at the University of Victoria (UVIC) and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2007. UVIC was the perfect distance from home to provide me with both support and independence. I continued my path of self-discovery surrounded by the ocean, beaches and good company. After graduating, I worked at a crown corporation in a variety of roles in supply chain and operations.
My dream when I graduated was to climb the ladder and become an Operations Manager at this company. I found it very difficult to get that first management position and realized that it would help to acquire further education in the management realm. I pursued a certificate in Project Management and successfully transitioned to my ‘dream job’ in the private sector working for a multinational corporation. I spent the next five years developing my career as a Project Manager in the Engineering and Construction industry.
But even as I achieved my goals, something was missing for me in my corporate career. I liked my job but the time commitment and the stressful responsibility of overseeing multi-million dollar projects for someone else got in the way of my life goals.
I had to face some difficult truths, and I realized that my health, wellbeing, freedom and joy were so much more important to me than my six-figure job. Knowing I had other talents and a lot of bottled up creativity, it was time for me to break out on my own.
I wanted to create my own business, to see the difference I could make in the world, and to change the lives of others while bringing my best self to my work. I had an epiphany while on a trip in Hawaii that I should investigate life coaching.

Becoming a Life Coach
I became immersed in my own self discovery and analyzed my values, talents, gifts, and passions, as well as the vision I wanted for my life.
After my trip to Hawaii, I dove into the research of life coaching and enrolled in iPEC Coaching, a world class education provider for professional coaching. At iPEC, I mastered my skills as a Certified Professional Coach. Working with a coach first hand, I saw the benefits of having someone to consult with, challenge me, offer a fresh perspective, and have an accountability framework in place. During this time, I also enrolled in a self-employment program, to help prepare myself for the challenges of starting my own business. I became a Coach and established Eagle Point Coaching, dedicated to inspiring individuals to follow their passions and design their ideal life to maximize their well-being and make a positive impact on the world.
My business fits the lifestyle I want because I designed it that way and had the courage to make it happen. I set my own schedule, and at night I rest easy knowing that I do deep and meaningful work and make a positive difference each day. I now have a happier, healthier, more fulfilled life, and I get to spend my days helping others create the same.
Today, I live in Vancouver, BC Canada. I love to spend time in nature and go on long walks where I take time to contemplate, meditate and focus. To stay active and fit, I enjoy using a punching bag and weight-lifting. I love to unwind each week with a dinner party or backyard BBQ surrounded by friends and family. I am exceptionally grateful when stargazing, exploring BC, and when travelling to new places around the world.
